Data We Process

We process the information necessary for the operation of the service: account data (identity, email, phone, hashed password, professional/individual status), content published in listings (text, photos/videos, property location), exchanges made via contact forms, and technical data generated by your device (IP address, session identifiers, access logs, browser and security information). We do not request special categories of data (e.g., health data).

Purposes

The data is used to create and manage your account, publish and present real estate listings, enable connection between interested parties and advertisers, provide customer support, secure the platform (abuse and fraud prevention, service integrity), and, with your consent, to measure website traffic to improve its operation. The communications we send relate to the service (account creation, messages related to a listing, technical notifications).

Data Source

The information comes mainly from you when you create an account, publish content, or submit a form. Technical data is automatically generated when using the website.

Data Sharing

The information you submit via a form is transmitted to the relevant advertiser (individual or agency). We use service providers strictly necessary for the service: hosting/infrastructure management, sending transactional emails, security tools and, where applicable, audience measurement. These providers act on instruction and do not use your data for other purposes. Information may be disclosed to authorities when required by law.

Cookies and Trackers

We use cookies essential to the operation of the website (authentication, language preference, security). Audience measurement cookies may be used only if you consent via the information banner; you can withdraw your consent at any time from this banner or the "Cookies" settings. No targeted advertising cookies are enabled by default.

Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active; it is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period (up to 24 months) after closure or prolonged inactivity. Messages exchanged via forms are retained for up to 24 months after the end of the exchange. Listing content is retained during publication, then archived for operational and evidentiary purposes for a limited period (up to 24 months). Technical security logs are retained for up to 12 months. Cookie durations depend on their purpose and are listed in the cookie management interface.

Processing Location and Transfers

We favor solutions hosted in the EU/EEA. If a data transfer to a third country were to occur (for example via a provider located outside the EEA), it would take place with appropriate safeguards and adequate framework to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

Security

We implement proportionate technical and organizational measures: encryption of communications (HTTPS), access control, security logging, backups, and monitoring. Tests and improvements are conducted regularly to maintain an adequate level of security.

Your Rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability of your data, as well as object to certain processing. You can also withdraw your consent to audience measurement at any time, without affecting prior use. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@immy.be or our DPO at tep@immy.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (APD) in Belgium.

Minors

The service is primarily intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect children's data; if we discover the creation of an account by a minor, we will take appropriate measures, including account deletion.

Modifications

This policy may evolve to reflect changes to the service or data protection requirements. In case of significant modification, we will inform users via the website and/or by email. The last update date appears at the top of the document.
